Explore Retreat at
Lutherhill
Want to help your child build
confidence, friendships, and independence — without jumping

experience everything from outdoor adventures to creative
activities and meaningful campfire worship, all in a
supportive community designed just for their age.
It’s the perfect
“test run” for kids who are curious about summer camp (and a

it here!). Let’s explore camp together!

Welcome,
Jada Hylton, Interim Executive
Administrator
Jada
Hylton joined synod staff the week of
January 11. She will primarily be
responsible for: general office admin,
event planning, (some) bookkeeping, and
communications as well as admin to the
bishop. About her new role, Jada says,
Hello!
My name is Jada Hylton, and I recently
joined the Gulf Coast Synod office. I
previously served as the Office Manager
at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baytown
for 20 years. Although St. Paul's closed
in October 2025, I am now excited to be
part of this vibrant community and to
work alongside the wonderful staff here.
My goal is to listen and learn, grow as a
communicator, and assist the Bishop in
any way I can. I look forward to
connecting with fellow churches within
our synod and exploring opportunities for
collaboration and mutual support in our
shared mission.
