Kinsmen
Lutheran Church's Abendmusik concert series is proud to present
the Monarch Chamber Players in concert. The program, entitled
"French Romance: from Fauré to Piaf" will include music
from Gabriel Fauré, a tribute to singer Edith Piaf, and music by
Houston composer Emma Wine. The concert will be at Kinsmen
Lutheran Church on April 4 at 7:00pm.
All Abendmusik concerts are free to attend and donor-supported.
This concert is presented with the assistance of the Texas
Commission on the Arts.

On Wednesday, April 30, at 7:00pm, professor,
theologian, and priest, Dr. David Taylor will be on campus at
Fuller Texas to celebrate his most recent book, Prayers for the Pilgrimage: A Book of Collects for All of
Life. The conversation with Dr. Taylor will be hosted
by Dr. Collin Cornell, professor of Bible and Mission. The first
25 registrants will receive a free copy of the book at the event!
Dr. Taylor will be available for book signings prior to the
program. Parking is free and adjacent to the Fuller Texas campus.
Light refreshments will be provided. Register now.

The Gulf Coast Synod, a
community of 100 congregations, camp, and other organizations,
seeks a part-time Disaster Ministry Coordinator,
to cultivate relationships and lead preparedness among leaders,
ministry sites, and neighbors in our Gulf Coast Synod, prior to
disasters, and response following disasters. The hours are
flexible, with fewer hours during times of preparation, and more hours
following disasters. Experience with disaster response or VOAD

Open house and light refreshments
immediately following.
All are welcome for prayer, reflection, anointing, and
Eucharist during Holy Week. We will bless and distribute the oils
used for the baptized, the sick, and the dying. Bring your
congregation's cruet to receive oil. The rite includes a reaffirmation
of vows for pastors, deacons, and all the baptized.
No RSVP is required.
